West Bengal Women Development Undertaking, an Association was registered on the5th August, 1993 as a company under the Companies Act, 1956 for promoting the objects of nature specified in clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 25 and subsequently amended under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 with limited liability without the addition of the word “Limited” or the words “Private Limited” to its name.
West Bengal Women Development Undertaking is a Government Company (Public Sector Undertaking) under the Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, GoWB. West Bengal Women Development Undertaking, licensed u/s 25 of theCompanies Act has the share capital of 100011 shares with a value of Rs.10/- each.
